Arc Annex I

The Arc Annex series explores the unresolved circle as boundary and site of encounter — tracing the continuity, rupture, and reconfiguration of limits. Along the curve, a vertical vase or candleholder can be aligned magnetically, its position never fixed, always open to reinterpretation.

Through pure forms and minimal interventions, the series engages critically with the concept of ending — of function, of use. Identity, like function, is understood as provisional. Meaning arises from relation, and from the tension between balance and fragility. Each piece exists within a system of reconfigurable parts, capable of extension and inversion, forming new alignments through attraction.

Arc Annex 시리즈는 완결되지 않은 원을 하나의 경계이자 만남의 지점으로 다루며, 그 안에서 지속과 단절, 그리고 경계의 재구성을 탐구한다. 곡선을 따라 수직의 화병이나 캔들홀더가 자력에 의해 정렬되며, 그 위치는 고정되지 않은 채 끊임없이 변화의 가능성을 지닌다.

순수한 형태와 최소한의 개입을 통해, 이 시리즈는 ‘끝’과 ‘기능’, ‘사용’이라는 개념에 비판적으로 접근한다. 정체성이 그러하듯, 기능 또한 임시적인 상태로 이해된다. 의미는 관계 속에서, 그리고 균형과 취약함 사이의 긴장 속에서 생성된다. 각각의 오브제는 확장과 전환이 가능한 모듈 시스템 안에서 새로운 정렬을 만들어내며, 자력에 의해 연결되면서도 고정되지 않는 상태를 유지한다.
