CONTRASTS는 밀도와 공허의 공존을 탐구하는 몰입형 전시로, 빛과 소리, 공간이 하나의 감정적 흐름으로 전개되는 경험을 제안한다.
CONTRASTS is an immersive exhibition exploring the coexistence of density and void —where light, sound, and spatial experience unfold as a single emotional journey.

CONTRASTS의 감각적 여정을 통과한 이후, 그 감정의 잔향은 도시 안으로 스며듭니다.
포인트투파이브세컨드 성수하우스 2층 아트스페이스에서, Marius Troy의 프린트 작품 5점이 그 여운을 이어갑니다.
유기적 형태와 금빛의 물성, 자연과 도시 사이에서 진동하는 긴장. 그의 작업은 밀도와 여백이 공존하는 CONTRASTS의 세계를 일상의 결 속으로 조용히 확장합니다.
CONTRASTS는 전시 공간에서 끝나지 않습니다.
하나의 감정 여정은 성수라는 도시 안에서 계속됩니다.
After passing through the sensorial journey of CONTRASTS, its emotional afterglow seeps into the city.
At Pointtwofivesecond Seongsu Haus — 2F Art Space, five prints by CONTRASTS artist Marius Troy extend that resonance.
Organic forms and golden materiality, a tension suspended between nature and the urban.
His work quietly expands the world of CONTRASTS — where density and void coexist — into the fabric of everyday life.
CONTRASTS does not end within the exhibition.
It continues, subtly, within the rhythm of Seongsu.
About Seongsu / 성수라는 도시
성수는 서울에서 가장 빠르게 변하는 동네이면서, 동시에 가장 많은 것을 기억하는 곳입니다.
수제화 장인의 골목과 글로벌 브랜드의 플래그십이 공존하고, 붉은 벽돌 공장 건물 안에 새로운 감각의 공간들이 들어섭니다.
과거를 지우지 않은 채 현재를 덧입히는 방식 — 그것이 성수가 주목받는 이유입니다.
빠름과 느림, 오래된 것과 새로운 것, 소음과 정적. 성수는 대비의 도시 서울을 가장 선명하게 드러내는 장소입니다.
Seongsu is perhaps Seoul’s most rapidly evolving neighbourhood — and also one of its most layered.
Artisan shoemakers and global flagship stores share the same block. Within former red-brick factory buildings, some of the city’s most considered spaces have taken root.
The neighbourhood’s character lies in what it refuses to erase — the texture of time, still visible beneath the new.
Fast and slow, old and new, noise and stillness. Seongsu is where the contrasts of Seoul are felt most clearly.
About the Artist / 작가 소개
마리우스 트로이는 예술, 기술, 지각의 교차점에서 작업하는 노르웨이 작가이다. 그의 작업은 새로운 기술이 인간의 경험을 어떻게 확장할 수 있는지를 탐구하며, 물리적인 것과 상상적인 것의 경계를 흐리는 몰입적 환경을 만들어낸다.

Marius Troy is a Norwegian artist working at the intersection of art, technology, and perception. His practice explores how emerging tools expand human experience, creating immersive environments that blur the boundary between the physical and the imagined.
Working across image, object, and installation, his work invites viewers into states of reflection, presence, and quiet disorientation.
About the Work / 작품 소개
That Which Already Exists는 상상된 것이 현실로 드러나는 순간을 암시하는 ‘금’의 이미지와 함께, 다섯 점의 작업으로 구성된다.
각 이미지는 발견된 것과 만들어진 것 사이에 놓여 있으며, 지각의 경계 너머에서 떠오른 듯한 형태를 드러낸다. 여기서 상상은 현실로부터의 도피가 아니라, 현실을 확장시키는 하나의 힘으로 작용한다.
오브제와 상징 사이를 오가며, 이 작업들은 보이지 않던 것이 형태를 얻고 무게를 갖기 시작하는 순간을 포착한다.
That Which Already Exists gathers five works in which gold appears as a signal of something imagined — and therefore made possible.
Each image presents a form both discovered and constructed, as if emerging from just beyond perception. Here, imagination is not an escape from reality, but a force through which reality expands.
Moving between object and symbol, the works become traces of becoming — moments where the invisible begins to take form and hold weight.
